I will save Africa!
This was one of the most power messages I have come across this year. The idea that Africans must take full control of their own agency in order to prosper.
When I started this business I wanted to create a space where my talents could prosper. I also knew that there must be other people like me who have talent and are driven but do not have the opportunity to grow them into something tangible that others can appreciate and take part in.
So what started as a journey to get my comic book published grew into a bigger dream, a dream to own a company that produces high quality comics, stories and content. Every company that exists today, that we see as a big company, started where we are now. Small, making tactical moves.
I decided that seeing as I can't find the place that is a reflection for my wish for the world, I would create it. I focused and drew all my energy.
Tackling problems head on has become a strategy for me and that is the way I run this business. After all problems don't get eradicated without massive all out action. I go all out to fulfill my customers wishes and to produce quality content that all can enjoy.
As Africa we are yet to make a solid contribution to the MODERN world that makes people stand in awe at our excellence. As a result Africans suffer from lower confidence and sense of self. In this time, where we are more connected than ever, we need to define ourselves, and put our best foot foward. Starting a company is hard, it's challenging, there are a lot of doors to break past. But then again, there isn't anything that's worth doing or long lasting, that's easy.
